Acceptance.

Using this website means you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use the site. We won't be offended.

The site is provided as a free, public-facing showcase for the studio's apps. There's no account to create, nothing to sign, and you can leave at any time.

// 02

Intellectual property.

The beg1nner name, the "1" wordmark, the app names (rece1pt, m1nesweeper, n0n0gram), and the underlying app source code belong to the studio.

Text and design on this website are also the studio's. You're welcome to link to any page, quote a sentence in a review or article, or screenshot anything for personal use. Please don't republish full pages, clone the design wholesale, or pass the apps off as your own.

// in plain English Link freely. Quote responsibly. Don't clone the studio.
// 03

Disclaimer.

The website and the apps are provided "as is." We test everything before shipping, but software can break, hardware can fail, and edge cases can surprise everyone.

We make no warranty that any feature will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any specific commercial, legal, or personal purpose. If a specific outcome matters to you, please verify independently.

// 04

Limitation of liability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the studio is not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption.
  • Issues caused by third-party services (Apple, Cloudflare, Plausible, ISPs, etc.).

Some jurisdictions don't allow exclusion of certain warranties or liabilities. Where that's the case, the above limits apply only to the maximum extent allowed.

// 05

Governing law.

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that can't be resolved by emailing each other politely will be handled by the competent courts of Paris, France.

If you bought an app via the Apple App Store, Apple's End User License Agreement also applies to that purchase.

// 06

Changes.

We may update these terms when laws change, when a new app launches, or when a clause turns out to be unclear. The "last updated" date at the top of this document changes whenever we do.

Continued use of the site after a meaningful change means you accept the new terms. For significant changes, we'll mention it on the homepage for a couple of weeks.
